Great, but not Excellent

There were a lot of subtle surprises in this song, where I thought the melody would go one way but it didn't, or an unexcpected sound would come in. However, it got boring quickly because it was repetetive and didn't go anywhere. There were so many places where you could have a cybal, silence, and then blast into a strong melody with lots of different instruments. (I wish there was a way to tell you what sounds would work because I have a perfect version of this song in my head.) So, once again to repeat: Pros=not what I expected. Con=repetetive, and didn't get stronger.

Good work. Make it better.

I know what you mean. I will try to implement on my next song.
Thanks for your feedback.

More, please!

This was good, but it could have been better. I liked how it built from small to big, but it could have been bigger. What I mean is, you didn't have very many different sounds. Add more instruments, create your own little break in the middle, put in extra sounds! Even if you keep the melody the same, add more instruments as you approach the end to keep that build from the beginning. Add some lower synths, maybe a rock guitar, an electric sound, etc.

P.S. You're drums were very good. I'm impressed. Finding the right drum sounds is the hardest part for me.

Hi! i just didn't because i didn't wanted to make changes in the original melody ^_^ but thanks for the comment ~^

Legacy

This is a great song. It would fit in any game involving a computer (in the game) or puzzle solving. It would have also been good in TRON: LEGACY. Was it possibly inspired by the soundtrack, or was this made before then?

Nice job

You did a good job on this song. With a little change, it could actually be a pretty awesome loop. Your drums were incredible. The melody at times seemed chopped. You should have some parts, espeally those near the end, be more fluid, constant notes, arpeggios, etc. Also, that little intro/outro bit didn't need to also be in the middle. And you used the voice too much in the beginning. The first few times it was cool, but then I started thinking "okay, this is getting rediculous!" If you took just the words "Nuclear Exterminate Music" from that part and placed it at different points in the song, it would be much better.

what else could i put in, it sounded good in my ears, so i don't care what others say.
This is for the ones like me

Cool

This loops farily well, but not perfect. I really like the song. It's varied just enough that it doesn't get repetetive, and there were a few breaks to make it not boring. It was very good, but not quite a "blow-me-out-of-my-chair-in-shock-at-
its-epicness". I bet if this was put into a minor key it would be awesome boss-fight music!

Great combination

The idea behind it reminds me of the NEST theme from Transformers 2. Mixing guitars and heavy drums into an orchestral song, adding more "cool" to the theme. I liked how it was still very dramatic. Can you make another version focusing on the rock part more than the little string interludes? I have a feeling that this can become a hard-rocking, yet still dramatic, song, like the NEST Theme.

EagleGuard responds:

Thanks! =) Unfortunately, I don't usually change my own songs, unless it involves adding/changing smaller details. I might create something similiar though in the future. I'll focus more on the rock part then ;)

Thanks for the review!

I CHOOSE YOU...as the best version of this song!

I agree with everyone below me (without the swearing). Furthermore, the effects and sounds of the guitar fit perfectly with the theme. The drums were out-of-this-world and out-of-the-Pokemon-world. You started strong and stayed strong through the end. There were so many cool tiny shocks of that little extra sound that made this song amazing.

I don't know the game...

...but the song is pretty good. A little repetative, but you played it well. Good Job. I don't really have any suggestions for you, other than MAKE MORE SONGS!

Zelda or Kirby?

It reminded me of Kirby's Wave Ride, one of the minigames in Amazing Mirror. I really liked your sound choice for the guitar and the drums were great. I also liked how you interrupted it with softer piano parts.

Not bad, but...

This definately is not one of the better versions of this song that I have heard. However, it isn't bad either and it has a unique feel. This song needs more powerful chaos, more instruments, but it seems like you never use software instruments, so that limits you in what you can do. It was a nice effort, but I guess that I've heard too many better ones that this doesn't sound so special.

I love reading, writing, and music making. I also love pranks, especially computer tricks. I ski, play soccer, and love jumping. Over trash cans, off walls, onto tables, anywhere! I talk constantly and unceasingly. I've got slight mental problems. #
